Lodge Activities
John Pirelli Lodge offers the widest range of activities for its members and guests. You will find events and experiences that enrich the lives of our members and families, stimulate new relationships and cultivate the essential elements of Italian culture.
Because the Lodge has such a large number of members (about 500) and the fact that it has its own facility (a large hall with beautifully landscaped grounds including ample parking, bocce courts, shelter and playground), John Pirelli Lodge is able to provide literally something for everyone to satisfy a wide variety of interests.
| The Italian Fall Food Festa, always on the weekend following Labor Day, is the biggest event of the year for our families and friends. Every member makes a commitment to participate in his or her own way in the work of the Festa to make it the continuing success that it has become. |

The Bocce Classic, an annual tournament that draws as many as 72 teams from the local
community and other cities like Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Chicago, takes place the week
following the week of Independence Day. Many members enter teams in the Classic while
others just come to help out or to enjoy watching the fun.

Dinner-dances take place throughout the year, from the Columbus Day Banquet and New Year’s Eve party to the St. Joseph--St. Patrick celebration, the Valentine Party, the Christmas Party, as well as special Easter and Christmas programs for kids.
Popular covered dish events that are always well attended include the three summer holiday picnics at which the bocce courts are always open for games and practice. Other activities include the annual Pancake Breakfast, participation in the World Affair, organized bocce league play (men’s, women’s, coed and kids), fish fry and white elephant gift exchange.
The Lodge is what you make it. If you do join us as a new member, we will say Benvenuto and encourage you to participate in whatever aspect of lodge activity interests you most.
